The beautiful surroundings of the Franciscan Monastery at Kostanjevica near Nova Gorica will host, for the 13th successive season, enjoyable musical events known as Music from the Gardens of St. Francis. Also this season music will try to enhance the spiritual power of this unique cultural and historical jewel. Five concerts will build on the concept which has been formed over the past seasons and have been embraced by both our loyal audiences and musicians. This means that we will put under the spotlight music and musicians from Slovenia and the region of Goriška, from Italy and the neighbouring Italian region of Friuli. In addition to established Slovene musicians, up-and-coming musicians, mostly from “the gardens of Goriška” from both sides of the border, will get an opportunity to perform.
