At the church and hall of the Franciscan Monastery at Kostanjevica near Nova Gorica May – June 2012
Music will once again enhance the spiritual power of this extraordinary cultural-historical site. During seven selected musical evenings we will continue our presentation of Slovenian music with an emphasis on musical creations from the Goriško region, Friuli, and the Italian border region. We will give the opportunity to Slovenian musicians – and especially to young talents grown in our own Gorica "gardens" to perform on the concert stage. “Music directs man to the depth of his own soul.” Allow us to direct you there when you join us on these thrilling evenings of music.

The 17th consecutive season of ‘Music from the Gardens of Saint Francis’ will take place in the pleasant atmosphere of the Franciscan Monastery in Kostanjevica in Nova Gorica. This musical event has become increasingly popular among music lovers in Goriška region.
